Spiral staircase MIRECOURT

Share

A small but very elegant spiral staircase from the Belle Epoque, circa 1900. This Mirecourt staircase is relatively well decorated, with cast-iron balusters, cap nuts and a finial.

The original staircase was found and salvaged from a French manor house in the town of Mirecourt in the French Vosges. The manor house was used as a violin workshop until 1956. Indeed, Mirecourt is famous for its lace and musical instruments. The manufacture of musical instruments, particularly those of the violin family.

The Mirecourt staircase is characterized by its small diameter of just 108cm. Ideal when you need to space-saving or where space is (very) limited. The Mirecourt staircase is available in three different configurations, one of which is the Mirecourt Deluxe with a special ornate pattern in the tread.
